It has been weeks since I left the gold land, passing through unfamiliar terrain, at this point everything outside my routine is considered an uncharted territory. People are still fighting, children torn apart, friendships severed, families ripping each other apart for silly differences. Therefore, people have created their own family, clans. Instead of the two sides fighting each other, clans have emerged fighting other clans within each side, it is chaos. I decided to stay clear of human contact as much as possible, therefore, I chose the route nearest to the Atlantic ocean where the waves could hit you and suck you in, if you are not careful. I beautiful black road, an empty road, surrounded by the Atlantic ocean, a true majestic place.
I decided to camp there indefinitely, I found a red tower, that looked like a frying pan tower but it was away from water, I did not think about it much, I was happy with the idea of camping near the Atlantic ocean, I climbed the tower, and started setting up the camp. Everything is ready, tent, fire, cure, black water, and granola bars, a quick side note here, I have been living off of granola bars since the apocalypse started, I raided a convenient store as was embarking on this frivolous journey, I needed something that does not require refrigeration and does not go bad fast. So I grabbed as much granola boxes as I can fit in my 120l backpack, I stored them in the bag, 40 boxes should be enough, I said sarcastically as I finished a box right there and then. Windy, sounds of the waves crashing on side of the road is relaxing I laid back and enjoyed the our new stars until I dozed off. An amazing 2 hour sleep, before it started raining so heavily that I thought it will flood the road, little did I know the ocean was disturbed somehow from under, that caused the ocean to move forward on to land. So much for a majestic place, when you are about to be thrown into the Atlantic ocean, I stayed on the tower until the sea level balance with the tower, I could have stayed there, since the water did not actually destroy my camp. However, the whole idea behind this journey is get out of my comfort zone, and experience new things, travel alone.
As always, I jumped into the ocean, without a plan, without any scuba equipment, without any thought for my life that is about to is sinking into the ocean.
